Used carbon fiber because it looked cool and was light, but I melted the threading trying it on my .223. Big mistake. If you’re building something serious, stick to stainless or Ti. This is more for aesthetic builds or .22 toys.

This carbon trap, with the titanium end caps, came out looking like something from a sci-fi flick. Runs cool with 147gr. Subsonics. Not the quietest, but great for indoor work and plinking.

I paired this carbon tube with a titanium core, and I’ve never looked back. It barely adds any weight to my Glock 19. Shoots smooth, stays cool with subs, and looks badass. Just don’t try full auto or rifle rounds with this—it’s not meant for that.
